As a wedding planner, I am advising clients again and again on picking a photographer and how to pinpoint a style that they appreciate, not just a price tag that seems like a good fit. The focus should be on the couple, and the day, not grabbing some incredibly artistic shot with a lighting set up that requires 20 minutes of preparation. Knowing that our wedding photos would be one of the few tangible remainders from our wedding, we were prepared to invest in photography. Our biggest concern was finding someone that would capture the day with the right feeling that fit us, and a balance between the necessary more formal portraits without them looking stiff and awkward and "capturing" the moments. It was a no-brainer once I came across Beth's portfolio. She was the one! From start to finish, working with her, I felt that she appreciated our business but also that she enjoyed our company and was truly excited to be a part of our big day. Beth helped us to feel at ease in front of the camera, as much as that's possible, and gave gentle easy directions that made for beautiful pictures. It's so hard to pick faves, they're all fantastic. I appreciate that she takes the time to really consider each shot, and the overall composition and pauses for direction, wanting us to look and feel our best, rather than rushing. Not only that, but she kept our wishes in mind at all times, and I love how she covered the details of the day as well, that we had spent so much time considering and paid for. We're able to remember everything much more clearly thanks to her work. "Love" is an understatement to describe how we feel about our engagement and wedding photos. We're so thankful that we had Beth and would recommend her to all of our friends and family.

As a Bride there are so many difficult decisions to make that require a lot of thought and consideration. From the venue to the flowers to even the wedding dress - these are overwhelming choices that must be done with care. For Mike and I, choosing Beth as our wedding photographer was the easiest decision we could have ever made, It was the best decision too. I had followed Beth’s stunning talent for capturing perfect moments for years and I couldn’t wait for the day to come when I could contact her and meet the girl behind the beautiful photographs. Little did I know I was about to meet one of the sweetest, most thoughtful and caring girls that I now consider a friend. Beth has a genuine passion and love for her job. It is evident through all of our conversations and meetings throughout the wedding process. After our engagement session, Mike turned to me right away and said, “I understand why you love her so much... she really is great”. This coming from the guy who was a little nervous to participate in an engagement session as he isn’t a fan of being the centre of attention. He left the session feeling like he was spending time with a good friend. Leading up to the wedding day, Beth was there to support us with any questions we had and she offered her advice when planning the schedule of the day. We loved that she was so invested in us and wanted to know all of our stories and become familiar with all of our family members. It was just fate that Beth loves Grandma’s as much as we do. On the big day, Beth was a calming presence that helped make the day run so smoothly. Her bubbly personality kept everyone in good spirits and with many laughs too (even on one of the hottest days of the summer!). A photographer really does spend the entire day with you and shares in all your special moments. We are so lucky we had Beth to share in ours. Every single person she met throughout our wedding day loved her instantly and my Mom was even begging her to come to the family brunch the next morning. So from a past Bride to a new Bride, my advice is this, the best gift you could give someone is the feeling that you had on your wedding day. Beth’s photography will have every overwhelming emotion rush back to you as you look through your wedding photos. Beth’s attention to detail will be shown through the photos of your beautifully decorated ceremony and venue and all the little details that made your wedding unique. From the speeches to first dances, she captures all the candid reactions and smiling faces of all your loved ones. There is truly nothing better than that. There is no possible way to thank Beth for all the magical moments she caught in photographs. If I only had more walls in our home to display them all. Thank you so much Beth for putting your whole heart into your work. You are a true talent and I am so lucky to call you a forever friend.

I first came across Elizabeth in Love when a friend of mine was engaged and we were looking for wedding photographers for her, about 4 years ago. I wasn't engaged at the time, but I knew immediately after seeing her work, that she was my dream wedding photographer. I followed her blog for a long time, admiring all of the prettiness that she captured so perfectly. I booked her soon after I became engaged, carefully planning my wedding date to ensure she would be available! The first time I met Beth was at our engagement shoot. I felt like I knew her so well already, but she was even better in person! She is the most sweetest, sincere person you will ever meet. We now have the most beautiful memories that we can look back on forever. Beth is truly one of a kind, the best in the business.

It is difficult to find the words to describe the amazing talent of Elizabeth as a photographer. She has the ability to capture truly stunning photos and the emotion that is tied to them. Beth! Thank you so very much for everything! I have a lot of thank yous in advance and many compliments to pass on! In the past week since our wedding we've seen many friends and family members and they've all had compliments to say about you: you took SO MANY photos, you never settled with just one shot, you kept up with the kids and got candid photos, you efficiently photographed 20+ family members on one of the hottest days of the year and kept everyone calm! Oh, and one person said when she gets engaged she'll be calling you! But the biggest thank you is owed for everything you did that's outside the scope of wedding photographer responsibilities: keeping us on time, coordinating the getting ready shots & first look and most importantly, keeping us CALM. There were moments in the chaotic hour before the first look photos when I could feel my nerves get to me and then you'd appear in the room and everything felt fine again. Beth was hands down my absolute favourite vendor to work with out of my entire wedding experience. From the first moment we connected it was easy to see how passionate she is about her work and how genuine her desire is to help make your special day unforgettable. She is so friendly, personable and fun to be around that she right away puts you at ease and truly felt more like a friend who happened to be taking pictures at my wedding than a photographer. Even for my (now) husband who was really not that keen on the whole idea of an engagement shoot, she worked extra hard to make it feel natural and to help him feel comfortable. Beth's talent is obvious upon your first look at her portfolio, and we could not have been happier with how our photos (and album) turned out. However, what stood out most about Beth was how accommodating and easy to work with she was. She had no problem traveling for our wedding and engagement shoot and always listened to our thoughts.
