Jessica and Brendan share something very special. It’s evident in how they speak to one another, look at each other, and how you just feel complete comfort and ease around them. To be honest, we didn’t do an engagement session. We didn’t even meet in person before the big day. This definitely isn’t typical for me but it didn’t make me nervous either. Our emails were brief, but they were meaningful. I could get a good sense of who Jessica and Brendan were by their photos online, by their emails, and by their trust in what I do. It was never a question – we just knew we were all a good fit. I have to give credit where credit is due to the amazing Cynthia Martyn who does a pretty darn good job matching her clients and her vendors. Not to mention making every wedding a dream – but you’ll see that in the decor as you read on!

Jessica right off the bat was someone I felt a strong connection with. Our styles aligned. Our vision for the day aligned. The minute we met in person, I swear, it was an instant friendship. Her family was as warm as anything and all day I felt myself wanting to know more and more about Jessica and Brendan’s love story. We heard how they met nearly 12 years ago. How they are completely best friends an pretty much grew up together, side by side. I was intrigued and I was grateful to stand their witnessing this love as they became officially husband and wife. Their family made us feel as if we were apart of them, including us in every moment of the day and right alongside them during every dance move. I don’t even really know where to begin describing this day. Magic would be as close as I could get. It’s evident that It was beautiful, but on top of that, it was heartfelt and it was everything a wedding should be about. I’m grateful I was there to witness and document such a real and authentic love. One of my favourites to date. You might be able to tell the way it’s plastered all over my site 😉
